A Case of Uterine Didelphys with Double Cervix and Longitudinal Vaginal Septum

Abstract
|
|
|
Congenital anomalies of uterus are very uncommonly encountered, resulting from abnormal fusion of MuPlerian ducts or abnormal development of Mullerian ducts or from failure of absorption of the septum. They are responsible for increase in case of breech presentaion, premature labor, abnormal presentation with dystocia, dysfunctional labor, uterine rupture, the necessity for Cesarean section and abortion.
We experienced a case of uterine didelphys with double cervix and Iongitudinal vaginal septum at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Soonchunhyang Medical College hospital in Seoul. So we report our experience with brief review of literatures.
